list directories and files and write to a text file

Posted 07 January 2009 - 03:35 PM

Does anyone can teach me to display files within a directory and subdirectories and write these directories and their files to a text file.

Thanks,

Gerry

While we do have a site policy that you must show the code you've tried so far, that we're not here to just do peoples work for them, I can give you a couple items you'll need to know in order to accomplish.

First you'll need to know theDirectoryInfo Class, the FileInfo Class, which are members of the System.IO Namespace
