I got a ready up to upload website into my HD , made for assignment reasons at my college.Now we decided that it will be fun to publish it also!

What I need are some suggestions about cheap or free webhosters that will allow me to upload my files , or write some HTML code.

Any idea?I dont care about domain name as I can easily get a .tk

Why does it have to be a .tk?

And if you're looking for a free webhost... Geocities should work if you're just uploading HTML.

nah just mentioning that if i need a free domain i got a solution.The host is the prob.

I dont mind if i pay something.But it has to be lower than 5.50 $

I've also done similar search - http://host-ed.net/ is the best, IMHO!

Have you considered using your own Web server with an old Linux PC and dynamic dns service like no-ip.org??

I've heard that 1&1 is one of the cheapest around, they are a massive host.

If you've got a spare PC lying around, just use that. Install Linux on it, and go.
