Thought I'd give back to the coding community of whom has helped me along the way in my coding career. I am a 23 year old Web Development Firm Head of an Ad Agency in Anchorage, Alaska. I live in Wasilla, Alaska (YES the Sarah Palin Wasilla) and I love everything about creating ideas that turn into useful applications. I hope this is a good fit and that I can pass along some little nuggets of 'wisdom.'

So what is like to live in Alaska?
I hear it is a beautiful place, but personally I prefer warmer climates.....

Every winter I wonder why I stay here, but currently I could ask the same question to those in Alabama. Anyways, it is a great place and it really does have beautiful country side. Anchorage is a moderate city with decent pay, and Wasilla is a great suburb an hour a way. So yeah - come visit in the Summer when it is 80 degrees with no humidity.

Hi Greg!

I used to work with a guy who lived in Alaska and all he wanted to do was go back. I live in Albuquerque, NM where it's 100 with no humidity in the summer. But it was also 60 degrees today and no humidity

So do you do more web development or marketing? While I'm the "Head DIC Head" here at dream.in.code, I'm also the marketing manager for a company in Texas.

Did you ever meet Sarah Palin?

I live in Alabama, so if you wonder why I stay...well I kinda have to, lol. But as for the weather comparison, yes we have had some colder days, but nothing like what you have in Alaska. And the other day it was 65 degrees. In January! And we have had approximately zero inches of snow this year. (like almost every other year) lol.

So, what do you like to do besides web development?

I do almost all web design and development. I work in a marketing firm and the guys downstairs do most of the marketing strategy. Then I get together with them and come up with a creative solution to help enhance their strategy.

Yeah, I've met her quite a few times and here in the small town of Wasilla we laughed during the whole election - because we would read something and go, "Wait, that's not true," or, "that's bending it and taking it out of context." It was quite interesting knowing things that the media didn't - but oh well. She is a great lady and has done a lot for our state whether the rest of the nation wants to believe that or not - I really don't care, we'll keep her.
