Office suite

Hello i have just take over a Sourceforge project.WHich is mean't to be a office suite.It has some programs but they haven't been updated since 2003.But i need some one to help me out on the project so if you can apply

First you need to look at it sourceforge.net/bestoffice/
If you like it we will get on working on a new verison for around end of feb.


I will add more info soon.Looking for one person but if there is more people wanting to help.I will allow upto 5 people.

Please answer asap.

When accessing SourceForge, it says that there is an error. Are you sure you are writing the correct URL?

Developing an office suite is a highly-demanding job. Unless you already have most of it done (from another project), you will experience many problems and most likely won't achieve the same level as the professional productivity suites.

The only recommendation I would give is start with the basics.

I know its a hard job but we have a verison build that we will improve.But fusiontext could replace the best word once we get I get it will all the features.

Also my recommendation would be publishing some screenshots and documentation. It is really not that hard and it will give the user a clue on what he/she is downloading.

I totally agree here. For example, Microsoft Office is developed by a big team of professional developers that have years of experience not only in software development, but also in business and documment processing. A team composed of several persons (4 or 5) will surely not make even a close product to Miscrosoft's productivity suite.

Well best word i didn't mean ms i never can do that.Imean the document processor is called best word but i woudl replace with my text processor fusiontext
