There are four pinned topics regarding Game Programming, FYI. I'm unsure if any have "Game creating tutorials."

Well it would be nice but then you have the problem of any code examples could be in absolutely any coding language which could confuse if not completely frustrate users

Well most people will tell you what language there tutorial is written in, all i mean is that instead of having a huge amount of c++, C# and other language tutorials to trawl through to find some games ones, they have there own section :)

Well, there is a search feature. As long as you know what you're looking for . . . .

Sometimes it is really hard to differentiate what is for game programming and what is not, because some algorithms can be applied in many situations, so it's better to post them in a language-specific tutorial section, rather than in a separate Game Programming Tutorials forum. However, specific algorithms (drawing, rendering etc.) or library guides (DirectX, XNA) will fit great in the Game Programming Tutorials section. It would be a great addition to the Tutorials page.

While polls can sometimes be useful, if you want to make a suggestion for a new/modified feature for the forum. It would serve you better to post your suggestion in the Site Feedback forum. Just post the suggestion, no polls please.

If enough interest is shown by the community, we will be happy to create a new forum to hold the content.

I could sure use the helpful information but would it be for text-based, 2D, or 3D?
