The Companies That Power Dream.In.Code

Posted 26 January 2009 - 09:15 PM

I get asked this from time to time so I thought it would be good to make a post acknowledging all of the companies and products that power Dream.In.Code.

Well, let's not get carried away. None of those companies are doing it for free or even know we exist. They are all paid. :)

So true yet if it wasn't for their services that was paid for then DIC wouldn't be where it is today, so end of the day it is not only the hard work put in by the members of the site as well as the staff but also the companies that provide the services on which we rely on

To the companies above:
Thank you for following your profit motive in a free market to produce the goods and services that skyhawk has chosen for the upkeep of DIC. I'm sure if you continue to provide a competitive service the DIC board shall use you for years to come. However if you falter, have no doubt that the market reaction will be swift and merciless because you don't have enough lobbyists for a bailout.

Sincerely,
5thWall

Yeh, I get a lot of questions about who make them.

Well at least we can see that Chris is making a profit, as he can get these companies to help power DIC.

Accounting profit is the difference between price and the costs of bringing to market whatever it is that is accounted as an enterprise (whether by harvest, extraction, manufacture, or purchase) in terms of the component costs of delivered goods and/or services and any operating or other expenses.

It still shows Chris and the team are making a profit. Otherwise there would be no DIC.
