Use a Streamreader and a Sreamwriter.

Something like:

        Dim reader As System.IO.StreamReader = New System.IO.StreamReader("Insert desired path here")
        Dim str As String = reader.ReadToEnd()
        reader.Dispose()
        reader.Close()



Or

        Dim writer As System.IO.StreamWriter = New System.IO.StreamWriter("Insert desired path here")
        writer.Write("anything") 'or
        writer.WriteLine("anything")
        writer.flush()
        writer.Dispose()
        writer.Close()



I only gave you that because I was in your position once; I was clueless about how to do anything so I would post questions without work. Either that or I just did your homework for you...
