What's rocketmail?
* gabehabe is confused.

I don't even know where this would belong...

I doubt it, since Google tells me it's a Yahoo product. Meh.

Moved to the corner cubicle, since Wikipedia tells me it's a really big thing. If it's going down the pan, it could be interesting news. (?)

As far as I know, RocketMail is just a domain name to assign to your Yahoo! mailbox. If you sign up at Yahoo!, you will have to choose a domain name for your mail box (like Microsoft provides @hotmail.com and @live.com). RocketMail is one of such choices for Yahoo!

It was launched quite recently, I wonder why they would cut it? I thought it was added because @yahoo.com was getting "full"

GMail hasn't turned bad on me or anything yet, I like my GMail. The spam filter is amazing as well.

RocketMail was actually one of the first webmail offers, acquired by Yahoo sometime back in the 90's. Yahoo Mail was built on the RocketMail engine. Relaunched mid last year iirc.

I just created my rocketmail account for a new company I'm (supposed) to be starting with my two-buddies but it's not letting me log in either. Eff Yahoo, it seems that Google has gotten themselves another follower in their plot for global domination.

RocketMail was introduced years ago. Then it disappeared a few years later. Apparently, bought by Yahoo I guess.
