OK -- sorry to dust off an old post but I figured it would be good for continuity if I posted this here instead of a new thread.
Anyone look at Serendipity lately? I am recommending some of my people at least look at this blog instead of assuming MT is the best solution. I'd like to stay pure-PHP if possible, since supporting Perl as a cgi-bin just for MT seems unnecessary if everything else is in PHP.
Thoughts? Any experience? Anyone ever take Serendipity and MT toe-to-toe to see what the strengths/weaknesses are?

PHP + MySQL + OOP + Great HTML/CSS = Awesome home brewed blog system.

So your preference between Serendipity and MT is...?
Myself, I've not played with Serendipity, so I can't comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the two in a comparative sense.
