I don't really listen to Country - I am merely stating that Country music supplies hot chicks.
Agreed. Except there is some decent Country that's got a little bit o rock flavor in it. That's the Country I like.
Like the Eagles. A lot of the Eagles can be considered Country and yet they still kick loads of ass.
As for the Rock/Rap battle ... really both have up and down sides. Personally, I like many genres though Rock is my first and favorite. But even some rock I consider absolute rubbish. Mainly that new screamo shit. Really I don't like much new metal either. I've seen Dimmu Borgir in concert and I kind of wish I hadn't. I've gone to Ozzfest a few times and liked less than half the bands each time.
Examples of what I deem great rap and rock:
Rap: Tupac, Flobots, Dr. Dre, Bone Thugs n Harmony, The Lonely Island (LOL).
Rock: Anything from Nirvana to Tom Petty to Metallica to Pink Floyd.
On a side note, DEATH TO SUB GENRES. Seriously, they are pointless and not standardized at all. What's the difference between death metal, black metal, satanic metal and the lot? ...
Rap, however someone may like it, is not a form of music. It is most commonly only a very baseline poetry set to others peoples musical creations. Generally 90% if the music is someone else's sampled stuff as a backdrop of someone trying to make me believe they are a gangsta, pimp, playa, etc......
I listen to many different types of music. Mainly 80s-90s rock like Queensryche, Motley Crue, Metallica, Tesla, etc, or country music(from TN)Yee FKN Haw !!!!
However, I also love classical, baroque, pop, techno, and Love blues.
I will listen to most anything, but rap. However, my best friend growing up ONLY listened to rap......Go figure
