since no one seems to want to talk about QBASIC in VB and QBASIC lounge i thought i would bring it here..

there has to be others who fool in QBASIC...aside me and dragoon (well not so much dragoon anymore)

and for all those who say growup..i say [expletive]!! adv qbasic is actually challenging

i played in Q for a while back in high school.  usually re-writing games for multiplayer.  but ummm... Q just isn't very powerful.

well true for math stuff and what not (i realize that accounts for a lot)
but you still can do alot with the computer itself in Q

beeps controlling beeps and controlling he modes for the screen and of course the line and draw commands!

oh yes. and another cool thing is you make a program to make and control directories and stuff

James your the only person, who uses QBasic, and you will fail on your first person shooter, game, although, i'm knoking QBasic, I still like basic, because i use YBasic for my palm

I actually kinda like qbasic i havent done much with it but its pretty fun. Nothing i would use to make anything grand, but a little something to mess with every now and then :)
