The feedback I want is for the design. Keep in mind that the site is not designed to be flashy so do not point that out.
The header say "Gävle (my town) programming society". The purpose of the site is to gather Gävles many programmers in one broad community. If the design looks messed up please tell me what browser you are using and what version and also what OS you are using.

I have tested it in IE7 (v7.0.5730.13), Firefox (v3.0.6) and Opera (v9.63) with 100% perfection.
The CSS and XHTML 1.0 Traditional is valid in W3C.

From the top down: (Note: I'm using Chrome on WindowsXP for the entire analysis)

The very top part seems too tall for the content. Maybe move the search button onto the same line as everything else. Also the text there seems scrunched up close to the top of the page, maybe add some extra padding there.

The main graphic looks nice and I like the anime eyes in the background. However you may want to adjust the contrast in the main text. As it is now the eyes are drawn left to rest in the mostly empty portion of the graphic, you may want to increase the contrast at the right portion so the eye lingers their for a bit longer or add something at the left.

I like the layout of the main body, but the font seems very scrunched up. Maybe add some spacing between characters (just a very little bit more) and add some spacing between lines to loosen things up and increase readability.

Also you may want to vary the font slightly more between the headers and the main text, perhaps use a different font-family or change the color to one of the darker blues from the header.

The footer with the copyright information seems big compared to the amount of content you have on the page. This may go away when you get more content on the front page, but for the time being maybe put the W3C tags to the right of the copyright information.

Just my suggestions. The site looks the same in Firefox and IE as it did in Chrome.
