C# vs Java

it is for desktop application not for mobile application or for web application and in windows in near future.

I'd say Java, it's quick and easy to make/distribute apps, it's cross-platform (not just computers) and it has its foot in many new platforms and technologies.

thanks for your reply abgorn. Ya i agree that both have their own adventages and disadventages but i prefer to study both well i justed need the reply of dic members what is their opinion on it ? so i create the post with poll

hahaha...could you narrow the parameters a bit more to guide people? LOL...take away 2 huge java areas, and limit the platform? Nice.

Although you are hurting your own cause...C# is also heavily used in web applications, and is starting to move into the mobile market. It is also cross platform, although not to the same degree as java as this time.
