Is my snippet submitted?

Posted 06 March 2009 - 02:55 AM

I post a snippet to VB.NET section at tuesday 3.3 (or wednesday 4.3) but now I'm unsure if it is posted or am I mess it up someway. So could someone tell me if it is in queue, because if it is not I can send it again, but I dont want to make double post of that.

Thanks

It'll be submitted. You just have to wait for someone to approve it. :)

(If it gets rejected, you should get a message saying why)

I do not see any snippets/tutorials currently in the queue with your name on them.

You might want to go ahead and resubmit it.

OK, I have resumitted that snippet.
Name is RSA Encryption/Decryption with salt
Edit: I realized that i submitted the wrong version (not last) of this code.
Only chance was:
Public sub decrypting --> Public function decrypting
and Return clause

	Public Function decrypting()

		Dim bytes, todecrypt As Byte()
		Dim decrypted As String
		bytes = Convert.FromBase64String(My.Computer.Registry.GetValue("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\" & "trial", "trial", Nothing)) 'converts string from registry to bytes.
		rsa.FromXmlString(My.Computer.Registry.GetValue("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\" & "trial", "key", Nothing)) 'Get key from registry.
		todecrypt = rsa.Decrypt(bytes, True) 'Decrypting.
		decrypted = encoder.GetString(todecrypt).Remove(10, salt.Length) 'Convert decrypted bytes to string and removes salt.
		Return decrypted
	End Function

I will edit it as soon as I can. (If it will be approved)

Your snippet is in the queue. After a team member has had a chance to review your snippet, they will either approve/disapprove the snippet and you will receive a PM notifying you of the change in status.
