I use XBMC regularly, but it crashes every 20 songs, and wont go backwards on movies. I'm beta testing Elisa media player, for the guys who saw the article where I ran them in the dirt and found that I was good for constructive Criticism (long story). I love VLC but it's hard to link it so much when the Skins don't even support most of the buttons, for some awful reason and the fact that changing skins is screwed up in the current version.

I don't really care for media players that don't do DVD's otherwise songbird would take the resource hungry cake.

I use Mplayer for movies (Linux) & XMMS for mp3s (Linux).

So I voted other, since they are not on your list.

I use many of them... I suppose VLC would be my primary but really I use most of those at one point or another.

Well since my Ipod forces me to use Itunes I have that  I have winamp because it has the nice playlist into a HTML page function to list all my songs for people to see, other then that I have regular windows media player not to fond of any of them to be honest, I guess which ever one I just manage to click first is the one I use.

I used WinAmp for a long while. I used Windows Media Player for a little bit, then Windows Media Player 10 & 11 came out.

I use VLC for movies more or less because Windows Media Player doesn't support alot of the codecs (that I use apparently). :) Like ZMBV.

VLC & Media Player Classic for movies (VLC more often, but MPC seems to handle hi-def better).

Songbird & iTunes for music (Songbird mostly, iTunes is there for use with the iPod)

Definately iTunes for me, only on Mac though :)
When I'm on Windows(when I'm programming so regularly), I plug my iPod into my bass amp and listen from that since I don't keep my music on Windows :^:

Also, posting from my iPhone wooo
