Project:N00b

((I so wanted to put b00bs instead of n00bs >_>))

So this guy, Magixion, of EoFF stated interest in starting a project: an rpg or some type of game. He stated that this was for fun and for the purposes of practicing coding and for a résumé builder, and he also would like help and asked if anybody could help. I of course volunteered, since I was already working on one myself (see my blog). We have so far a small team together and a forums to organize it. We are at the beginning stages of planning storyline and such, but so far it coming along nicely, considering time zones.

We have a few members already, but much help is appreciated. This could be fun in building your résumé too! <3 People so far:

Totally forgot about this thread. Thanks to everyone who joined. I know we are still on the storyline, and some of you coders are getting impatient, but the game needs to have a decent storyline. That's the most important process and aspect of a game. If anyone else want's to join, please do. ^____^ This is for a learning experience. I don't know much cpp either, but I'm writing what I can in java and making Danny translate it *gets shot*

I wouldn't mind joining. But how would this work? Which programming language would get used? I'd say either C# or C++!

I'm not gonna be a major developer on the project simply because I don't get time, I'll be more of a support if anyone needs help.

IM info is on my profile if/when you guys want help. (MSN or gTalk is your best bet)
[And no, that's not an invite to anyone who wants me to do their homework] :)

I started working on my own engine, so if you guys want it or parts of it, let me know.

I would like to help out with your project, but not in coding. I would be interested in writing conversations, quests, stories and when your project is ready maybe help with the manual.

That would be excellent. We are still doing the storyline. You could get on and contact BG-57 about the storyline outline. He's working on the prologue and intro stuff now. As soon as we are done with the main script, we'll shoot out some code to go with it. Wolf and Nic30n3 have already offered their engines, Danny, but you can still translate my code for me >=3

The project is in C++ btw.
