I'm just wondering, and this isn't supposed to sound mean or harsh or stuck up, but are there any real designers in here? Like people that actually do Graphic Design as their job? I do, that's why I'm asking, cause I was just wondering if I'm the only one in here that does. Also if you are currently going to school in Graphic Design or the like, that counts too. I'm just curious. Thanks,

I've been employed as a web developer for about 3 years and did freelance design for about 4 years before that. I registered today for the first classes in my degree program. I'm getting my associates in Web Technology focusing on design and web scripting (PHP, CGI, ASP, HTML, etc.)

fulltime freelancer here (just ask my creditors ;)! 4 1/2 years in print & about 2 years 'basic' web design concurrent. so to answer your question, yeah there are a couple of us 'real' designers.
so, wanna trade 'war stories'?

Freelancer for now. Interested in becoming a full-time designer/developer. 2 1/2 years experience, which is more than anybody I've met who is my age.
HTML, Javascript, Flash, Actionscript, PHP, SSI, learning CGI...

Well I had a crack for it, until my 200 kicked the can and fried the H/D AND the mobo. Grrr... head to http://astalavista.box.sk and look for it. You'll find quite a few.
