Long "load" times.

Not what you think, but hard to summarize in the topic title.

Long "load" times.

Posted 15 March 2009 - 11:57 AM

I've noticed sometimes when I go to load a page on DIC that it'll load up fine, but Firefox will continue to think it's still loading indefinitely. This doesn't always occur, but I've seen it happen frequently. Typically, the status bar displays either "Read www.dreamincode.net" or "Transferring data from www.dreamincode.net...". Because of this, I can't tell whether it's anything with the advertisements or something else. Regardless, I thought you ought to be made aware of it, if you weren't already.

Thanks for continuing to provide a great programming resource :)

EDIT: Seems to happen most frequently when viewing a forum. Viewing this topic didn't do it, but I have another tab open with the PHP forum and it has done it 3 or 4 times in a row so far.

I have this problem as well with Opera and FF3.
A refresh solves the problem but it sucks having to do that for every page.
