Simple Sound

Post icon  Posted 18 March 2009 - 06:12 PM

I'm writing a text based game for my programming class, and the teacher is allowing us alot of leeway with how we implement the code. I have a midi file on my computer that I want the program to play when it opens, but I can't figure out how to load the midi file into the program. The program is in C++.

Any idea how to do it/and or put it in a loop for playback?

There is a library for MIDI playback in the Windows API. Have you ever used the Windows API?
