I submitted a snippet yesterday, I had a link to it, I try to go to the link while logged out and it says there's been an error. I check back today, my snippet has been deleted. It's a good snippet - well, actally - it's a very short full application but it demonstrates a concept very well.
Who approves snippets?Mine was deleted, I'm not sure why

Personally I attach a message for snippet disapproval and I know most of the other mods do as well. If your snippet was disapproved it likely duplicated a concept that is already in the same snippet section.
Other reasons a snippet might be disapproved can be a lack of comments, does not demonstrate anything that is not completely built into the language or perhaps the code would not compile properly.
What was the subject matter of the snippet? I'm sure we can track down the reason.

The Sieve of Eratosthenes. It has already been demonstrated but not very well. I did processing time tests with my code and the example code online and the example code already posted has no scalability. Mine performs in .02s on my computer when finding primes under 1,000,000 -- the example code didn't even finish (i ctrl-c'd it) because it was taking over a minute.

@NSLogan: Your snippet hasn't been deleted, it just hasn't been approved yet
