Upload screenshot PNG from desktop to post

Posted 04 April 2009 - 08:45 AM

I took a screen shot of a webpage in firefox to post in the html forum. It's saved on my desktop as a PNG. How do I upload this into a post?

I tried opening the file in firefox and pasting the file:/// URL, but that didn't seem to work. When we post images, are they saved in the post or uploaded from the web each time the post is viewed? If I upload the image from my desktop, then move the image to a new folder, will it not upload anymore?

Thanks Guys!!

Once you upload it into the post, it does not reference the info on your harddrive. Same deal with photobucket, etc...

edit: Go to Add Reply->Look under the text box, there's attachment info
