How to connect to Window based file server using Java Web Application

I have a window based file server over the network. Can some one pl guide me the techinical details about:
1. How to connect to Window based file server from Java Web Application.
2. How to create a folder and copy the file on window based file server from Java Application.

Any help in this regard is really appreciate.
