I Need java API for converting pdf to doc file.Can anybody provide me the required free java API for the same.

This may be way off but…is that even possible?? Like, with any programming language?

Of course it's possible. After all, Microsoft and Adobe used programming languages to save in the formats from their applications. However, I doubt anyone has provided a free java API to read and write both formats. Furthermore, it may not be legal without the correct licences.

Alright. I was just trying to figure out how you would take, say, a Mac Numbers file, or a scan, then pdf it, then put it in a doc format. But you're right, it should be possible somewhere down the line.
