If this question is about how to manipulate the Flash file itself (with, say Actionscript), then I would guess the PHP forum is the wrong place.

However, since you mentioned SWFObject...

The basic premise behind SWFObject.js is that you will use Javascript to determine if the Flash plug-in is installed, enabled, and of sufficient version before embedding the flash SWF file.

So... all you need to do is fill in the content of the HTML rendering area (usually a DIV tag with an ID attribute) where the SWF will be embedded with the title.

Example:

<div id="place-for-my-flash">
<?php echo $NAME_OF_FLASH_VIDEO; ?><br/>
<input type="button" onclick="embedMySWF();" value="Play" />
</div>

...

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
function embedMySWF() {
var so = new SWFObject('place-for-my-flash'); // I don't know the parameters for a SWFObject instantiation off the top of my head
}
</script>

This code is rudimentary, but is a bare-bones example.
The DIV is a "placeholder" for where the SWF will be embedded.
When the user clicks on the HTML button with text "Play", you should call SWFObject to write it's Flash EMBED/OBJECT tag.
