text-align issues between FireFox and IE

Posted 16 April 2009 - 07:55 AM

In IE, the text in div id="nav" aligns right. In FireFox, it aligns left. We want it RIGHT. It seems like I've tried everything but the correct solution. Any ideas?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Title</title>
<link href="style_main.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

</head>

<body>
<div id="wrapper">
  <div id="header">
	<div id="logo"></div>
	<div id="nav"> ...

style_main.css - for div #nav
#nav {
	height: 20px;
	width: 760px;
	padding-bottom: 12px;
	background-color: #02552B;
	text-align: right;
	float: right;
	clear: right;
	display: block;
	margin-right: 0px;
}
