Well, I have been programming for 3 years now and in that short time I have learned a lot about programming. In college the only language I was able to learn at the time was C++. VB wasn't taught until one year later and I wasn't able to take it. I also had three semesters of RPG IV and one semester of Java. After I graduated, I started working for a local company as a computer programmer. When I first started, I had to learn VB because that was the language they were using. We have since then moved to C# but in both cases, I had to teach myself those languages. This site has been a major learning resource for me. I continue to learn new things everyday and each time I do, I realize that there is still a lot to learn about any one language but there are certain concepts that can be carried from language to language.
