Welcome Amit! Glad you stopped by D.I.C! This is just the place to be if you want to become a good programmer. Trust me, I've learned so much over the years thanks to Dream.In.Code. Like yourself, I'm a C++ programmer (brogrammer) as well, and I'll point you in the direction of that respective forum, as I know that's where I started looking. Head on over, pose any questions, look at snippets of code, any resources are at your disposal now, in order to learn! Hit up the C++ forum and enjoy!

    Regards,
    Andrew

I spend a lot of my summers soaking in the sun out here in Minnesota, specifically out on the lake. I wakesurf a lot, work at Sunglass Hut (definitely a hobby), and spend the rest of my free time working as an intern for Prezi as well as preparing for school.

Hey there Wronskian, welcome to Dream.In.Code! I'm really glad you stopped by on your path of programming. I will say AppleII and C64 are a bit before my time, but it's always awesome to hear about the interesting precursors to today's languages.

Definitely feel free to post any questions in the C# section, and I'm sure an expert will pop in to answer them.

Have a great day, and welcome to D.I.C!

Indeed, it is very important that they feel welcome coming to the site, I know I need to pick it up on my part. Greeting leaves the first impression the user has with the forum.

"Hey, my avatar is not based on Lost. It's based on the old D.I.C design here. I work a lot in Photoshop and everything I do is done from scratch, a lot of my vector shapes as well."
Ah cool, yeah i figured it wasn't after i posted it. I haven't ever made any vector graphics before but would really like to learn.

Ha ha, calm down, that was back when i DID have a signature i completely drew from scratch, I've been meaning to change back to it, and yes my avatar wasn't drawn by me but i could have drawn it but i didn't have the time when i put it up around xmas. My current sig isn't no where near as good as the ones i usually make.
