    These people shouldn't touch our educational system. I do agree that perhaps Algebra could be taught a bit differently. High school geometry wasn't my thing, and I'd opt for a more college proof-writing class over it again. Getting rid of math as a requirement? That's ridiculous.

    I just saw this comment! I see more people run from engineering than I do math. A lot of engineers actually switch into Math Ed, which is for people that want to teach high school math.
