In Topic: filtering datagridviews by date when form is loaded
Posted 26 Apr 2013
hi,
You can use either datagirdview or listview which you think will fit the assignment or its easier for you. the way you can filter the database is with query. you can easy create the filter in the query using the OR keyword in the query. for further help please show us the code you have and describe the problems you encounter and we will be glad to help you. -

In Topic: Interacting with External Hardware: VB.NET vs. C
Posted 1 Dec 2012
As No2 says there is now right answer here. Most of them use some libraries in form of dll or ocx that you can use in both languages. of course if your going to make a GUI VB.NET will be easier then C. C on other hand can be used on any platform so this is a big + too. It all depends what you want to do and how familiar you are with given language
