I feel like the only reason to learn a new language is to serve or fix a problem that your current language can't, or of course if your looking to get a job with a specific language. Unless it REALLY increases your efficiency , why learn a new language unless it serves a different purpose? I use codeigniter currently but am starting to learn laravel due to its built in REST setup and its ORM database use which codeigniter does not have. I am also starting to learn angular.js as eventually I want to make hybrid phone apps and REST+angular.js will be invaluable. I am only a hobby developer (atm) and work full-time in logistics so maybe my 2-cents isn't as valuable.

Well, as far as the entries that will be up to the client after I train him to update wordpress with content.. I ment the functionality and layout

So the website is completed.. now just figuring out if I wanna replace the background gradient with a paper look..

+1 for phpstorm, I love the shortcode expansion and it has code completion for things I haven't seen elseware like classes you've made in css etc.. Also the firebug plugin is nice, visual git and more..

I also use notepad++ for quick edits

I know only the Home button on the Nav works but check the links in the footer, those are most recent posts for "specials" and the "gallery" . The specials is just a image and description while the gallery is a slideshow of images and description/text.

Yeah.. I gotta fix the title to be dynamic with whats being viewed but like I said it isn't finished.

I like the paper texture idea..maybe i'll look into that..if I can find it online - it'll make it look better in older IE versions as well ( because I'm using css3 gradients atm)
