In Topic: BA or BS?

AS it stands where I go, a BA is just fine. We don't have a graduate program, we graduate with a bachelor of the liberal arts in computer science. But its really all the same. I'm working at a grad school this summer doing research and they told me that the experiences and internships you do, in combination with your electives separate you from the crowd of CS majors. I'd go to a place that fit my interests, i'm studying japanese as well, rather then trying to get a type of degree when there really is no tangible difference. -

I found that problem shortly after posting - i now to a .equals(JMenuItem.toString()) - compare works fine. When i put a g2.fill() command into the iterator loop, I got visible stuff. For some reason, changing the background color doesn't work. Am i inadvertently breaking some g2 functionality when i do an override?
reasons for storing as strings rather than ActionEvents or such, I thought strings would be the smallest in terms of memory consumed and the like, but i guess it really doesn't matter. memory is cheap.. i'll change over to ActionEvent Queue
