    I think that palette might be easier understood in HLS. Across the way the hue is changing. Down the way, it's the saturation. Googling for the maths behind the conversion from HLS to RGB might be a good start.

    Thanks for the reply. I will look into it.

    Edit: I should mention that I execute the jar command from the bcprov-jdk16-146\src directory.

    and where are the .class ?

    Whoops I haven't compiled anything before trying to create the JAR. I guess I don't really understand how JARs work, only how to use them. Is there a way to compile everything at once? Like javac *.java will only compile anything in the current directory, correct?

    You haven't answered any of my questions :(

    Sure your .java will have the import

    Does your directory file structure matches all those import statements ?
    Are you at a directory level up from /org when you jar ?

    Sorry, I misunderstood. Yes the directory file structure matches those import statements. And yes I am a directory up - /org is directly within the src directory, which is where I jar from.

    when you said you imported everyting does that mean that you have a directory structure like

    /MyJava/org/bouncycastle/asn/...
    /MyJava/org/bouncycastle/asn1/...

    Hi pbl,

    The imports I have right now are:

    import org.bouncycastle.*;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.ASN1InputStream;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.ASN1Sequence;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.DERInteger;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.DERNull;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.DERObjectIdentifier;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.AlgorithmIdentifier;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.SubjectPublicKeyInfo;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.TBSCertificateStructure;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.Time;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.V3TBSCertificateGenerator;
    import org.bouncycastle.asn1.x509.X509Name;
    import org.bouncycastle.jce.PrincipalUtil;

    (I was just using the eclipse click-and-import feature, hence why every individual one is listed rather than .*)

    import org.bouncycastle.*; resolves, but the rest do not. And like I said, when viewing the JAR within my eclipse project folder, org.bouncycastle.asn1 exists, but the only thing in it is "package.html". There's no further depth in any of them like there was in the original JAR.

    and are you in the /MyJava directory when you > jar cf ....

    I am in the bcprov-jdk16-146\src directory and I use the full path to the JDK:
    ...\bcprov-jdk16-146\src>"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_01\bin\jar" cf bcprov-jdk16-146-mod.jar *
  5. In Topic: How to development a software

    Posted 6 Oct 2011

    You're not ready to start with a beam designer. You mentioned you've done some rock, paper, scissors programs - that's where to start. You can't just jump into this complex of an application without any experience and education. The truth is, if you want this applicatian developed, go back to school or hire some developers. And like modi123_1 said, if this is going to be applied to real world problems, then it needs to be done by professionals, for the sake of integrity and safety!

    By the way, is there not already some software available that can do what you need?
