    why dosn't Perl have better array manipulation? you can only store scalers in arrays and hashes so you have to use the scaler 'reference' type to store refrences to arrays or hashes so 2d arrays have a strange syntax of @var[x]->[y].

    maybe i haven't been focused enough in a particular area. i haven't ever read a c/c++ programing book, i read a book on flash and that was it. maybe i'm lacking a formal understanding of programing that i need. extremely cool that you learned that much in high school :)
