    thanks for the code. but when i apply your codes into my program, when i guess incorrect item it would still print and not be able to get out of the loop

    no, not converting from strings.

    what i mean is, when i want to add multi digits like 551 + 23 = the answer is 574. but the problem in my code is, it only allows single digit input. can you help me do this? i'm really lost in this.
