It's not that I think you should accept them or even have some sort of tolerance for them, but it's more with me just nitpicking at it the general idea that people like who we're discussing are "talentless" and by association, it's fans are also of low esteem... Despite the fact that they're successful musicians able to thrive in a competitive market. They evidently have talent and saying they do not is unfounded.
  2. In Topic: Another attempt at defending brute force attacks

    Posted 23 Nov 2014

I like this solution mainly because it does what hash-based security seems to be all about these days: increasing the amount of time required to brute-force crack a password. Even if they circumvent your original solution by sending the password twice, that is still doubling the time required to crack the account.

You can extend this script by tracking the login IPs, user agent, and other variables provided by the user who owns the account. If you have 90% successful logins from one IP, and they try again - it's safe to assume it's not an attacker.

I never understood why so many people don't understand the purpose of this music. It's party music. It's not supposed to be good or anything, it's supposed to just get you pumped and dance. The lyrics mean absolutely nothing and usually just related to something current/trending (ie in this song, making fun of the new trend of white girls going "literally, I can't even"). Remember that selfie song ("but first, let me take a selfie") too? Same thing.

Damage, you are correct with saying that it's something you can listen to while semi drunk and having a laugh. However I think you are misinformed with the idea that they are "adult frat boys with not much talent". If you look in the credits of the video, you will see there's more than just some random adult frat boys working on this. It's a business, and the adult frat boys are the front. They get paid to dance and act and put on a show.

Yeah, it's not music in the sense that it was written to invoke emotion. But it's a business. The whole song could be bird screeches for all they care - all they want in the end is the paycheck. But the fact that they're getting views and getting money shows that they are not talent-less, they are running a business, and that they are being successful.

Do you know what a persuasive essay is? It's a classic writing topic platform. Lots of articles exist to persuade you to their thinking. It's your job whether or not to determine if he's right or wrong and actually consider the idea.

Guess what, this forum thing is all persuasive writing too.

So you want to learn C#?
I should learn VB.NET firstly, because it's silminar to C#, but VB.NET is more "human", and in Visual Studio you can program in C# too

You know as well as I do you love poking cows. I think it's the danger element that appeals to you. Maybe you should talk to a professional about this.
