I'm a NYC-Paramedic who whilst out of work (hospitals closing like crazy) got a job with his paramedic/lawyer friend who had some really uffed up software/databases. Long story short I am now addicted to the sweet crack-rock that is computer programming.

I started learning autohotkey to make a couple simple macro's, went on to learn VB6, VBA, T-SQL and now am mainly on the C# train, trying to learn ASP and Java ... I like C# I find it to be extremely elegant - true story look it up in the non-fiction section...

I've been at it for about 6-7 months but I feel like I'm getting better and more self reliant every day.
