    In list of inherited values on additional dependencies, found under Linker tab it says it needs all the DX lib files that are causing there errors.

    I'm using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. I've added the include and lib directories to VC++ Directories.

    I tried to run the source code provided on the web page and I received the same error.

    It seems all C++ applications regardless of whether the application is using Direct X or OpenGL, it still requires Direct X libraries.
