The link in post #9 doesn't work. I switched hosting providers for my website, so the link broke. I don't have the code that I created that day so I whipped up a bit of code today that is probably representative of what the code at the broken link looked like. This code hasn't been extensively tested either.
As others have said, it would be best to implement a tokenizer to parse the expression rather than regular expressions as I did. Because of the way this code is implemented, expressions are not handled correctly in all situations (e.g. parenthesis and caret), but I did not want to stray too far away from how my original code operated. The code is simple, but by no means perfect. -

I can vouche for Kaspersky. The feature that has impressed me the most is its ability to be customized for tech geeks, while also being ready to go right out of the box. The updates are done automatically and don't consume your bandwidth which is great. It also scans your computer constantly without using up all of your cpu. I don't have a super fast computer at 2.4 GHz with 2GB of RAM and Windows 7 32 bit. So the speed of Kaspersky is definately something that cannot be beat. And with absolutely not viruses since I got it, I would say it does a great job all around. -

My language is C# and it can do anything that doesn't require uber speed. But it is commonly used for quick development of desktop applications. -

I too don't really feel bad about losing one more failed human life. Although I do feel sorry for all of his friends and family. I also think that tweet by Knoxville might have been the first time that he has actually been sincere.
