  1. In Topic: Quest problem: group by

    Posted 5 Apr 2013

    modi123_1 thanks for your quick reply

    ID path user type
    ---------------------
    1 1.jpg 20 photo
    2 2.jpg 5 photo
    3 3.jpg 50 image
    4 4.jpg 45 image

    The Query: SELECT * FROM data GROUP BY type

    the result would be
    ID path user type
    ---------------------
    1 1.jpg 20 photo
    3 3.jpg 50 image

    right?

    but I want the "GROUP BY" only work in type='photo', become:

    ID path user type
    ---------------------
    1 1.jpg 20 photo
    3 3.jpg 50 image
    4 4.jpg 45 image

    only type=photo process "GROUP BY" this command.
  2. In Topic: DIV spread evenly with float left

    Posted 4 Feb 2013

    Hi, andrewsw,
    Thanks for your quick reply.

    so there is no way to make it automatically spread?

    if I added 4th div, it would drop to second line, and first line would look like empty on the right side.
  3. In Topic: float left DIV and center in the same row

    Thanks IJET, I found the answer.

    This is my original code
    <head>
    <style>
    #container{
    display:inline-block;
    height:100px;
    margin:0px auto;
    border:1px solid black;
    }
    #div1{
    float:left;

    }
    #div2{
    float:left;
    }
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>

    <div id="container">
    <div id="div1">
    <img src="profile.png"/>
    </div>
    <div id="div2">
    <img src="function1.PNG"/>
    <img src="function2.PNG"/>
    <img src="function3.PNG"/>

    </div>
    </div>
    </body>

    inline-block would make "margin:0px" auto not work.
    so I gave the container a height
    and move div1 out of container

    <head>
    <style>
    #container{
    width:400px;
    height:100px;
    margin:0px auto;
    border:1px solid black;
    }
    #div1{
    float:left;

    }
    #div2{
    float:left;
    }
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="div1">
    <img src="profile.png"/>
    </div>
    <div id="container">

    <div id="div2">
    <img src="function1.PNG"/>
    <img src="function2.PNG"/>
    <img src="function3.PNG"/>

    </div>
    </div>
    </body>

    then everything works.
    the "div1" now is left-most and div2 is center.

    Thanks for your help IJET.
    Thanks again

    Thanks for your answer IJET.

    I don't know the width, because I set the parent's width as 100%;

    Okay, then play around with the line-height.

    #myoutfitTitle{
    		display: inline;
    	float:left;
    	font-size:50px;
    	position:relative;
    	margin-left:10px;
    	margin-bottom:-4px;
    	padding-top:0px;
    	bottom:0px;
    	border:1px solid black;
    	line-height: 40px;
    	}

    it's not working in #myoutfitTitle but works in <a> tag
    so I changed it to
    #myoutfitTitle a{
    	display: inline;
    	float:left;
    	font-size:50px;
    	position:relative;
    	margin-left:10px;
    	margin-bottom:-4px;
    	padding-top:0px;
    	bottom:0px;
    	border:1px solid black;
    	line-height: 40px;
    	}

    Thanks for your help!! problem solved
