In Topic: Creating dialog for an RPG

Correct I am displaying them one at a time. What I don't understand is why they disappear after being displayed. Like for example it goes A then disappears then B then disappears and so on. I was trying to get ABCD... one letter at a time not just one letter then the next one.
And I'll look into the swing timer. i only used the Thread.sleep because that's the only way I got animations to work
