    Don't forget about Clang, its C++0x/C++11 support has always been ahead of the "competition".

    libc++ is also worth checking out :)

    I second that, PyDev is amazing.
    But, as people have pointed out, unless you're developing a complex module or application, you can do just fine with a text editor and the console.
