TechnoBear, on 07 November 2011 - 10:57 AM, said:I'm trying to work out how to set it so a user can log in for only a specific page (different pages for different users set number of users) so that the can write some information (possibly a text area) which is viewable by people who visit the page.
I hope this makes sense to people, if not let me know and ill try to rephrase.
Thank you in advance,
Guy Curtis
I think you should ask this in perhaps the php forum. What your asking to be shown what to do would be considered dynamic. HTML is a Markup language and is not dynamic. You mentioned java and PHP in your post title to so what are you trying to program this with? My suggestion is take this to the PHP forum. It would be the most common language used to preform this kind of task. -

The Neoracle, on 31 August 2011 - 08:41 PM, said:Haml is a 100% personal preference. It's less performant than ERB, and seems to solve the problem of not being able to type greater than and less than signs fast enough (so, not a problem), but some people swear by it. I find it completely pointless and I hate translating html to haml just so I don't have to type a couple brackets.
okay great thanks for your input
