    I'm not great at Java though. I kind of adapted the language to how I want to use it which isn't really correct. Once I get the hang of it more maybe the others will be slightly easier, but I can't imagine it being a breeze to make a working database-driven website on a home server.

    Just reading your profile, I think that if you're learning Java now you will find Javascript, PHP and MySQL a breeze. :)
