Definitely makes sense but when I added it it says that FocusedRowHandle, GetRowCellValue, & Columns are not a member of the DevExpress.Xtragrid.Gridcontrol

i believe the datSourceIndex is the row number in the data table and the row handle is the row of the view. it could be different based on how you set up your view with filtering and sorting. i tried to look up how to get the data source index and the method i found ask for the row handle. thats about when i gave up

We use devexpress with .Net and thats their data grid. I've looked at their website and they have
```
GetRowCellValue( 
   ByVal rowHandle As Integer,  
   ByVal column As GridColumn 
)
```
But I have to pass it the row handle. They have a function to find that also but I dont know what to put in for the dataSourceIndex. When I look up how to get the data source index you need the row handle.
```
GetRowHandle( 
   ByVal dataSourceIndex As Integer 
)
```
I'm new to this so I'm not sure if I'm going down the wrong path or I'm just missing something that I'm sure is probably easy.
