Oh goodness. Someone called my office the other day wondering how to get to our employee site. I told them the web address, and not two minutes later, I got a call back asking why Google kept popping up. I kept trying to describe to them what the address bar looked like, but they just didn't get it. :'(
Also, this isn't someone being stupid, but it did catch me off guard. I was resetting someone's password at work, and they watched me while I did it. I have two monitors, and suddenly the person asked, "How did your mouse get over there?" I was like, "What do you mean?" I guess they had never seen two monitors together. I take working on two screens for granted so much now, it took me aback when he asked that.
...I just thought of something that is kind of in the same vein as the Google address bar thing. Does it drive anyone else crazy when people use the caps lock key to type capital letters? I've noticed recently quite a few people I work with do it. -

I really like hak5 -- they always have interesting things on their shows. Although, because I tend to just listen to podcasts rather than watch, I prefer their shorter hak tips episodes.
Software Engineering Radio is quite interesting, and I am a junkie when it comes to the BBC World Service podcasts - I don't know why. -

I used to read a lot of Philip K. Dick books, and I always liked this quote:
"What does a scanner see? he asked himself. I mean, really see? Into the head? Down into the heart? Does a passive infrared scanner like they used to use or a cube-type holo-scanner like they use these days, the latest thing, see into me — into us — clearly or darkly? I hope it does, he thought, see clearly, because I can’t any longer these days see into myself. I see only murk. Murk outside; murk inside. I hope, for everyone’s sake, the scanners do better. Because, he thought, if the scanner sees only darkly, the way I myself do, then we are cursed, cursed again and like we have been continually, and we’ll wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too."

I've only ever used VMware, so I can't really vote fairly in the poll. However, I will say that VMware has never left me wanting more. -
