    I think its stuck on getting the character to write.

    How do you plan on finding out if it's getting stuck writing the character :)/>?
    We can't debug your code, so we can't tell you where it stops working as expected

    Use a debugger, Eclipse and Netbeans both has a debugger you can use
    Or add more println's. Show us a sample run where it is messing up

    Personally I would take a closer look at this line, just to see if it is splitting the lines correctly
    (I doubt it splits as you expect)
    split("\\n")

    This is actually i splitting as I expected, its splitting all the lines into strings

    Alright so i wrote a program for autotyping, but whenever the loop is started to start typing, the whole program locks up and i cannot stop it or do anything else on the program, I think it has something to do with the robot class, or how I am using robot.delay(int); to sleep the thread? I am not sure, i have tried different things like wrote different ways of looping it and tried changing it to robot.wait(); but I cant get it to work correctly. If someone could help me figure out whats going wrong with it that would be awesome. Or could tell me where to look/what part to change.
    Here is my code:
        private void startButtonActionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent evt) {
            String[] lines = lineArea.getText().split("\\n");
            int loopNum = Integer.parseInt(loopField.getText());
            int iterationNum = 0;
            if (startButton.isSelected()) {
                this.setTitle("Andrew's RSClient (Started)");
                while(iterationNum != loopNum){
                    for (int i = 0; i < lines.length; i++) {
                        try {
                            String s = lines[i];
                            jLabel2.setText("Currently Writing Line: " + i);
                                typeLine(s);
                        } catch (InterruptedException ex) {
                            Logger.getLogger(Frame.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
                        }
                    }
                    iterationNum++;
                }
            } else {
                this.setTitle("Andrew's RSClient (Stopped)");
            }
        }

        public void typeLine(String s) throws InterruptedException {
            try {
                Robot robot = new Robot();

                String[] lines = lineArea.getText().split("\\n");
                int delay = Integer.parseInt(timeField.getText());
                for (int a = 0; a < s.length(); a++) {
                    char c = s.charAt(a);
                    if (Character.isUpperCase(c)) {
                        robot.keyPress(KeyEvent.VK_SHIFT);
                    }
                    robot.keyPress(Character.toUpperCase(c));
                    robot.delay(50);
                    robot.keyRelease(Character.toUpperCase(c));

                    if (Character.isUpperCase(c)) {
                        robot.keyRelease(KeyEvent.VK_SHIFT);
                    }
                }
                    robot.keyPress(KeyEvent.VK_ENTER);
                    robot.delay(delay * 1000);
            } catch (AWTException ex) {
                Logger.getLogger(Frame.class.getName()).log(Level.SEVERE, null, ex);
            }
        }
