Well absolute. pretty much just said everything I was gonna tell you so instead I'll ask this. Is there any reason why you have a separate variable for add, subtract, multiply and divide? Could you not simply just have a float called "answer" and use that within each if statement? Not that it really matters that much, but I remember when I first started coding I used to always use more variables than was necessary, so I thought I'd mention it.

In the UK there are no where near as many stand off's with the police where both sides are armed, it's considerably harder to get a gun and the police don't carry them (except for police in Northern Ireland) and even if there is for the police to "shoot to kill" is pretty much unheard of.

Apparently the police want to use water cannons but they are all in Northern Ireland, presummably still there from the 12th.

@hookiethe1 and craig328 The skirts on NI police vans are more there to stop fireworks and thing, its hard to throw a petrol bomb under a car. And they use them quite a lot for road blocks during riots. A lot of the newer police vans aren't as heavy duty cause there isn't as much trouble now as there was 10 years ago. Still a lot of the heavy armoured ones driving about though.
