    Startup companies would be your best bet. They generally have a lower number of employees, so each employee has to pick up much more slack and often ends up needing to do a lot of the work for each project. Software development consulting companies are also pretty good for this from my experience.

    I see that you're retrieving the image from an api; is the image correctly oriented on the server that has the image?

    Ok, so your desktop is the server.
    It can also be due to you taking the picture while holding your device sideways, but not setting the orientation when loading it.
    Try checking the orientation via UIImage's imageOrientation property and if it's not correct, mutate it.

    Check to see if the image on the server is disoriented.

    Try stepping through code and see if any of your math is off. Maybe need to take ceiling somewhere.

    Try using multiple view controllers and either storyboard or a combination of xibs/nibs. Putting single view-management code in the AppDelegate is something I try to refrain from doing. I mostly put global application items in the AppDelegate. You could store the survey questions into NSUserDefaults, or continually pass them through each prepareForSegue for the multiple view controllers.
