    It is printing hash code where you want it to display the name of the winner. This is because you are displaying the Array object instead of the contents of the array. What you are looking to do is print the index of the name array with the index being the random number winner. Try this name[winner-1] instead of just name in line 20.

    It's printing 0.0 because you initialized it to 0.0 and did nothing with it. Look at each line in your main method (lines 6-13). You are not calling any of your methods.

    When you execute your program, it starts at the beginning of your main function and stops at the end of your main function, so as per your original post only lines 6-12 will be executed. Run through those 6 lines of code in your mind and see what your program is doing.
