Posted 25 Aug 2012Update: Just found this. My link
This is pretty much what i want to do with the gridview, expect this doesent really go into detail. Gives the source code there . A better video tutorial explaination is still needing with the payment feature aswell. Also having trouble loading that source code aswell, if anyone can find me something updated and similar would be appreciated!
Posted 25 Aug 2012How about braking this into chucks. Are you set for the database knowledge? Most hosting sites have databases, but you should check how much they offer. You know you will need SSL for the e-commerce transactions.
I'm not actually going to host this website officially its just a project im working on to help me learn some aspects of HTML/CSS/ASP.Net/SQL Server.
Ive got my products in a SQL Server Database, i just need video tutorial teaching me how to create the e-commerce aspect.
for example: Membership/Shoppingcart/Payment(payment option can just be paypal for now).
Honestly i'm not looking for it to be really official therefore no need in a website database, hosting it locally and no need in SSL then. Just looking for some easy guide to do the things i mentioned.
It can be easier breaking it down in chunks but in this case as they are related under e-commerce, it would be useful finding a video tutorial on this.
P.S forgot to mention it's gotta be a C# Guide .
Posted 13 Aug 2012Ahh , i get why in design view it looks different, because of the 2 side panels. Sorry im having abit of a brain freeze started this project only 2 days ago .

Posted 9 Mar 2012Then declare aPerson as an instance variable instead of a local variable.
Also, from one of your earlier posts:
QuoteThen when the user wants to delete a person they select from the list and click the remove button thus moving the specified person object they selected
Why would the user be selecting the Person to delete if you are just deleting the last Person added regardless?
I did add the variable as an instance variable instead of a local variable, because i thought accessing the variable from another method which is created in a diff method wouldint work, When i tested it, it didint so i added it as an instance as it was the ONLY way. Just wanted to see if someone could clarify this because i am facing an issue when declaring the variable as an instance variable which is the issue whereby when i add 3 persons i could delete any one of the persons but then if i selected a different person after deleting one it wouldint delete the 2nd one i wanted to delete. So i don't want to JUST delete the last person.
